Free breakfast and lunch for anyone 18 years old and under through the Summer Food Service Program Free breakfast and lunch for anyone 18 years old and under through the Summer Food Service Program
The Otselic Valley Central School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Breakfast and lunch will be provided FREE to all children 18 years and under through July 31. They don't have to attend our school to participate, and there's no official sign up  -- just come on over and enjoy  good food prepared by our terrific cafeteria staff. Breakfast is 8-8:30 am and lunch is noon to 1 pm, Monday through Friday.

It is a privilege to share Guest Speaker Zadoc Angell’s remarks from the Otselic Valley Central School 47th Commencement Exercises on June 23, 2017. June is a busy time so here's your round up and update--please take a moment to review the details.UPDATE: Thursday, June 22 is both the last day of school for Pre-K-6th grade, and a HALF day (dismissal at 11 am). June 22 is also a half professional development day for staff. IF Otselic Valley has an emergency closing day between now and the end of school, the last day of school for students will be Friday, June 23.  Read More

Students in grades K-5 are again participating in Jump Rope for Heart through the American Heart Association. Students collect sponsor donations, jump during physical education classes, and learn more about lifetime heart health.  Read More

Peter Kalin III (class of 2017) was honored at the March Student Government Forum by American Legion representative John Stewart for his participation in Boys' State last summer. Boys' State is a summer leadership and citizenship program sponsored by The American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary for high school juniors only.

Vikings  Madison, Peter, and Jessica will be performing in the All-County Winter Festival, an annual music festival featuring student singers and musicians from music programs across Chenango County. This year's festival willbe  held at the Sherburne-Earlville Central School District on January 21.

ST Math Leaderboard updates
Mr. Williams's new leaderboard shows progress in ST Math achievement. As of March 28, 2017, 29 students have completed 100% of their grade level's puzzles, and are free to move on to the next grade level where they can again work at their own pace. Awesome!
