UPDATE to the DO NOT DRINK WATER ORDER ISSUED FOR SOUTH OTSELIC WATER DISTRICT UPDATE to the DO NOT DRINK WATER ORDER ISSUED FOR SOUTH OTSELIC WATER DISTRICT
WATER UPDATE via  Superintedent Rob Berson on Nov. 25, 201:
Mr. Berson has been advised that the Chenango County Health Department cleared the school district for normal operations provided that "potable" water (which means it's safe to drink) is provided for drinking and food preparation at school. We have fulfilled that requirement: cases and jugs of water have been delivered for student and staff use. Two cases have been placed in each classroom, and the cafeteria has what they need. Also, hand washing is permissible from normal lavatory sinks, and all hand sanitizers are full. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school!

Students of the Month: September
Students of the Month: September
Congratulations to September Students of the Month: Aurora, Persaus, Cohen, Nelson, Jayden, Waylon, Abiana, and Madison! These students were recognized at Morning Program for achievement, improvement, and an array of reasons to be chosen by their teachers. The best part: it's a nail-biter as each class waits to hear who is named, and the cheering for their winning classmate fills the MPR.

OV Star Award winners: September
OV Star Award winners: September
Congratulations to the elementary "OV Stars" who demonstrated kindness, active thoughtfulness, and care for others. OV Stars are creative with compassion and attention to others, and we are so pleased that in Morning Program Ms. Blake and her assistants recognized these students and what they did for others. Every random act of kindness is noticed by at least one person -- the person on the receiving end! -- and that might start a chain reaction. Thank you, students.
