Hi all! Graduated class of '67 and am now retired living in Waterloo, NY where I finished my career as a school psychologist. Wife Marjorie is a part time RN at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic. Daughter Julie is a first year grad student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Univ. at Buffalo; son Chris is married and living near Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. My cousin Jim Dutton still lives in So. Ot. My mother, Liz Dutton, who passed away last June, was a school nurse teacher there for several years. Hello to all. I graduated in 1967. I married in 1971 to my wife Loc and have four children, Andy (36), Eva (34), Christine (28), and Kimberly (26). I have nine grandchildren. I live in Michigan now. I am working my way south. I retired from the USAF Reserves in 2004 after over 30 years of service. I have some prior time in the US Army. I served in Vietnam and I was also activated for Enduring Eagle in 2002. I spent a year in Wash DC serving my country. I have over 28 years of civil service duty with the Dept of Defense. I hope to retire at 30 years. I am interested in hearing from old classmates and others. |

Hi!! Larry Fuller class of 1968. After being a hairdresser for over 20 years I went back to school and attended Onondaga Community College majoring in Human Services. I graduated last May C'um Laude. During my second year I was president of the Student Association and was on the SUNY Student Assembly Executive Committee. I am now working part-time at OCC as coordinator of HIV education and testing. Last year we did HIV testing 3 times on campus and I helped take it to the SUNY schools with great success. 1974 Graduate. Followed in the footsteps of OVCS Librarian, Elsie Lamb. Just celebrated my 27th anniversary at the Johnson City Library. My spouse is the director of the Endicott Library. Two kids, one headed for college in the fall, perhaps our alma mater, Geneseo. Drive through the Valley each August on the way to the Bouckville Antique extravaganza and savor the bucolic hills of my youth. |
1978 Grad. Captain in the Cortland Fire Department NY and live in Solon with wife Shelley, Aiden 9, Caleb 4, and Nolan 2. Megan heading to college next year. I especially like the history part of this website and miss the Valley. I'm a sports nut and NASCAR fan. Great to see the Basketball team in the news this year. They are all great successful young adults. Hope the same core of kids, I coached as youth can take OV to soccer sectionals next year, keep working hard. Our 30th year is in sight. Class of 1967. Skip Dutton was my best friend and Best Man at my wedding. And the stories I could tell.... I live in Vestal, NY with my wife Kathy and daughter Kira, 14. I spent 4 years in the USAF after graduating from Morrisville and then got my BS in Electrical Engineering at SUNY Binghamton. I worked as a programmer for IBM 27 years until I was involuntarily retired and currently work as a contractor for Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY. My class had their own 20-year reunion at Bowman Lake and hopefully will have a 40-year this summer. |
Class of 1960. Joined the Air Force after high school, served in Viet Nam, and other overseas and stateside bases until i was medically retired in 1974. Married a Fort Worth, TX gal in 1966, and we currently live in Haltom City, TX ( suburb of Fort Worth ). Received my bachelors degree in Business Management from Texas Wesleyan University in 1979. I am writing this for my mother, Rosemarie Ettrich Petersen. Rosemarie Ettrich Petersen graduated in 1974. I am one of her 3 sons, Erich Petersen. Her other sons are Mitchell and Christopher Morse. She also has 2 daughters Jennifer Morse Bono and Elyse Petersen. She is married to Dave Petersen (graduated from Chittenango High School in 1982) who is District Manager of the Syracuse Branch of Snyders of Hanover. Rosemarie is a stay at home mom. My oldest son, Bret, is 18 and in his first year of college. I am self-employed as a proofreader and do most of my work for Colgate University. My husband, Tim, works as the Colgate University photographer. I think of my classmates and friends from OV often, great memories. My daughter is an athlete and plays three sports, so over the years I have attended a lot of sports events at other schools and I have to say that I've never visited a school where the fans had more school spirit and supported the team more than OV. Hopefully some of my classmates from the Class of 1973 remember me. My family moved into the old Brown farm on Torpy Pond Road in the summer of 1970. Some of my most cherished memories are from that period of my life. Nearly 38 years later the DuSells still call the farm home. After years of living/working for NY State in the Albany area, husband Tom's job took us to Baltimore in 1997, where he teaches at the University of Baltimore. I continued my "career" in public service and work for the State of Maryland, administering benefits and other employee programs for a State agency. I now live in Crofton, Maryland (about 10 miles outside Annapolis). We have a daughter, Allie, age 20 who is at college at Frostburg State in western MD. Would love to plan on moving back to upstate NY in my "retirement" years, we'll see! Class of 1970 from SOCS. I live in Brooklyn, New York City. I retired in 2009 after working for 38 years in retail as a buyer of mens furnishings. I have traveled around the world getting new designs for men. I am not old enough for social security, but I was old enough to retire from my job. I am still traveling.
