An important message from Interim Superintendent Grayson Stevens about access to our school:
As we approach the end of the school year there will be many activities at the school focused on celebrating our students’ successes. In the interest of student safety, we would like to remind parents and others of the current Board of Education policy that requires all visitors to report to the Main Office upon arrival. Visitors will be asked to sign in and let the office staff know the purpose of their visit.
Visitations to classrooms for any purpose require permission in advance from the Building Principal, Mr. Warren Smith. Guests should communicate with the classroom teacher about a visit, and the teacher will take steps to get approval from the administration. This advance preparation will allow teachers the opportunity to arrange their schedules to accommodate such requests, and ensure that the identity of all visitors in the building and their current reasons for being in our school are known and accounted for.
We appreciate your assistance in keeping our students safe as we manage access to Otselic Valley Central School.
