We'd like to invite you to our annual Title 1 Parent Meeting. All parents are invited. This year, the meeting(s) will be Friday, November 17 at 11:30, 1:00, and 2:15 in the conference room. The information presented at these meetings will be the same; you need not attend all three. You will be given information about the Title 1 program and ways to help your child.
If you can't attend this event, information regarding these topics can be found on our website. In addition, classroom teachers will also have this information during parent/teacher conferences.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via phone (315-653-7218) or email (email@example.com).
Thank you and I hope to see you on November 17, 2017!

As a parent of a student at the Otselic Valley Central School District, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teacher(s) who instruct your child. Federal law allows you to ask certain information about your child's classroom teacher(s), and requires us to give you this information in a timely manner if you ask for it. Specifically, you have the right to ask for the following information about each of your child's classroom teacher(s):
- Whether NYS Education Department has licensed or qualified the teacher for the grades and subjects he or she teaches.
- Whether the NYS Education Department has decided that the teacher can teach in a classroom without being licensed or qualified under state regulations of special circumstances.
- The teacher's college major and whether the teacher has any advanced degrees and, if so, the subject of the degree.
- Whether any paraprofessionals provide service to your child and, if they do, their qualifications.
If you would like to receive this information, please call Robert Berson, PK-12 Principal, at 315-653-7218.
