There are a number of ways to stay in touch and get involved. Read on...
The annual Alumni Banquet will be Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Otselic Valley Central School, in the M P R. We will be honoring the Class of 1969 (50th year) and the Class of 1994 (25th year). Social hour begins at 5 PM followed by a delicious buffet dinner at 6 PM and the business meeting at 7 PM. Tickets for the dinner are $10 and can be paid at the door as long as we have your reservation.
During the social hour, punch and appetizers will be served, and some areas of the school will be open for viewing. Lonnie Guernsey of Cincinnatus will once again cater our dinner. Although alumni pay $10 per dinner, the actual cost is $16.00. The Alumni Association will make up the difference with past dues, donations, and our 50-50 raffle.
Please send us your dinner reservations BY JULY 1, 2019. You can pay at the door provided that we know you're coming. To RSVP:

Annual dues are just $2.50 per alumnus. Your support helps pay for alumni association expenses. (See below for payment information.)
Three scholarships funded by alumni are given annually to our graduates:
- ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP: Given annually to an Otselic Valley graduate who has completed one year of college and intends to continue.
- ALUMNI AWARD: Given annually at graduation to a deserving student who has demonstrated scholarship, citizenship, service, and cooperation.
- LILLIAN THOMPSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND: This fund managed by the trust department of NBT Bank distributes approximately $1500 yearly to deserving graduates attending college. All donations are tax-deductible, and the full financial report is presented at the annual alumni banquet. This scholarship was established with a modest endowment from the Thompson estate in 1962 and has grown thanks to regular alumni donations. Donations are gratefully accepted in any amount, and can be made in memory of fellow alumni, teachers, or in recognition of those who have made a positive impact on students and community.
We appreciate donations of any size, including small contributions. Even modest funds can, when put together with others, make a positive difference in students' lives as they transition from school to college. Thank you!
HOW TO: DUES, SCHOLARSHIPS, STAYING IN TOUCH
Checks should be made out to the OV ALUMNI ASSOCIATION for the total amount. Please include a letter letting us know where your contributions should go (dues for who? which scholarships?) plus the following: your name, graduation year, which school you graduated from, mailing address, and email address so it's easier to stay in touch. Also let us know if you prefer future alumni banquet information to be sent to you via postal mail or email.
If you know of any alumni who have had a name change, moved, or passed away, please send updates our way too. Thank you!
