Last month 4th grade Vikings had an unusual Physical Education field trip: they traveled to Toggenburg Mountain in Fabius to learn to ski! Using free equipment rentals thanks to the I Ski N Y Passport Program for students, they learned all the basics, including safety, in a group lesson taught by a Ski Patrol member. These students can now appreciate ski helmets, trek up hill while on skis, stop and turn on the snow, and use the rope lift. Winter fitness can be so much fun.  Read More

A 5-hour pre-licensing course originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 27 from 3:15 - 9:00 PM is POSTPONED. We hope the new class will happen in 2-3 weeks--watch this space for the new date. Cameron wins the Scripps National Spelling Competition at Otselic Valley
In an exciting (yes!) 17 rounds, Cameron Bartlett won the spelling bee followed by first runner up Jacob Bunting and 2nd runner up Carlie Golden. Cameron will participate in the Regional Spelling Bee Competition on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at SUNY Oneonta, Goodrich Theater. Congratulations everyone, and good luck Cameron!
