Last month the Otselic Valley chapter of the F F A celebrated the year’s achievements with a concluding event held on the Otselic Valley front lawn.
The 2020-2021 F F A officers were retired, and new officers for 2021-2022 were officially installed into office. Congratulations to President Paige Palmer, Vice President Ethen Stafford, Secretary David Palmer III, Treasurer Skyler Graham, Reporter Nick Ramsdell, and Sentinel Craig Dubois.
It was noteworthy that three students also received their Empire Degrees, the highest honor F F A members can receive at the state level. Warm congratulations are extended to Aspen Grisolini, Cody O’Hara, and Paige Palmer. This well-deserved honor reflects their accomplishments and perseverance.
Additionally, Paige Warren received her Bronze Award in Goat Production, and Chapter Degrees (2nd year FFA member), Greenhand Degrees (1st year member), and Discovery Degrees (8th grade members) were all awarded.
The Otselic Valley F F A Alumni update was given by Jesica Warren, and seniors were recognized: Mike Stone, Jr., Aspen Grisolini, Paige Warren, Cody O’Hara. We look forward to the future contributions of these newest F F A alumni.
A look-back at fruit sale achievement included recognition of the top 3 Junior High and top 3 Senior High sellers. Thank you for your support!
Finally the New York State F F A jackets were awarded to Craig Dubois, Brianna Patterson, Lilly Palmer, Rylae Williams, Eric Cookingham, Jr., and Skyler Graham.
Many thanks to all F F A members for their continued efforts, especially during a year altered by COVID-19. Despite changing circumstances, our students continued what they do best: learning, leading, and adapting.
