Morning Program and Community Story Time, 2019-2020

Morning Program, a multi-grade Primary School assembly, has resumed for the 2019-2020 school year with some changes.
Our weekly assembly will be for grades PreK through 3rd grade; please note that students in grades 4, 5, and 6 will be invited for special occasions.  A rotating schedule of 6th graders will join us as Masters of Ceremonies (M C's). Families are invited to join us for Morning Program after signing in at the Main Office.
Morning Program will take place  on THURSDAYS, from 8:30 - 9:00 am, during the Fall Semester. When the Spring Semester starts on February 5, the weekly event will move to FRIDAYS from 8:30 - 9:00 am.
Community Story Time in the library for children age birth through age 4 and their caregivers resumes after each Morning Program, from 9:00 - 9:45 am. Our youngest community members are invited to join us for age-appropriate stories, puppet-play, snacks, and seasonal arts and crafts.
On Thursday, November 7, a school-only Morning Program was held to introduce students to Morning Program fun they can look forward to.  Teachers demonstrated or talked about the regularly scheduled activities, plus Students of the Month, Star Awards, and the cafeteria Spork Award. Coming new this year:  a weekly joke, and an invitation to give a Book Talk with Mr. Gross.
Families of students in PreK through 3rd grade, we hope you can join us for Morning Program on Wednesdays through January, then Thursdays in February through the end of the year.
