Otselic Valley Central School is proud to announce that the OV FFA chapter has been selected as one of this year’s National Living to Serve Grant winners. This recognition highlights the hard work and dedication of our students and their advisor, Mrs. Andrea Lehmann, in promoting agriculture education and community service.
Through this competitive program, OV FFA will receive a $3,000 grant from National FFA and its sponsors to support agriculture education programming for both our school and the community.
OV FFA is one of only two chapters in New York State -- and one of just 59 chapters across the United States -- to be selected for this honor. The achievement reflects the strong commitment of Otselic Valley students to the FFA motto of “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, and Living to Serve.”
The Living to Serve initiative, supported by the National FFA Organization, provides annual grants to FFA chapters nationwide to help implement projects that impact their local communities through service and education. You can learn more about the program here: Living to Serve Grants.
Congratulations to Mrs. Lehmann and our OV FFA students for this outstanding recognition. We look forward to seeing the exciting ways this grant will support agriculture education and strengthen the connection between our school and community.
