Otselic Valley Central School District is proud to share the third installment of our Historical Series, “Foundations of OV Pride.” This edition highlights student life at South Otselic in the late 1940s, focusing on the athletics, activities, and shared experiences that helped shape the pride we know today.
Featuring photographs from the 1949-50 Centralian yearbook, this segment reflects a time when teamwork, school spirit, and participation brought students together and fostered a strong sense of belonging beyond the classroom. These early experiences laid the groundwork for OV Pride, rooted in connection, leadership, and representing one’s school with pride.
We invite our community to explore Part 3: Foundations of OV Pride and reflect on the traditions and values that continue to shape Otselic Valley today.
