Otselic Valley Central School District is proud to share the fifth installment of our Historical Series, Life Beyond the Classroom. This edition highlights student life in the early 1950s, showcasing how activities such as music, athletics, student leadership, and agricultural programs helped shape a strong sense of community.
Through photographs, artwork, and excerpts from yearbooks of both South Otselic and Georgetown schools, this installment offers a look at the experiences that brought students together beyond their academic studies.

A special thank-you to local historian Mike Shuman for his continued partnership and contributions to preserving our school’s history.
