During the trip, the group also stopped at the bookstore, where every student received a book to take home. It was a wonderful day filled with exploration, learning and some great new stories to enjoy!
The Otselic Valley Central School District Board of Education recently held its annual reorganization meeting.
Dale “Suki” Fox took the oath of office as a board member, marking her return to the board following some time away. Dave Cruikshank was reelected board president for a second year, while Juliette Wentworth was elected vice president, succeeding retiring board member Greg Brown.
Congratulations to our newly elected officers and returning board member. We also thank Mr. Brown for his service to the Otselic Valley community and wish him the best in retirement.

Otselic Valley students recently completed a two-week summer program through SUNY Morrisville’s Liberty Partnerships Program alongside students from Norwich, Bainbridge-Guilford and Sidney.
Students participated in team-building activities, service projects, social-emotional learning, games and tie-dye. Through 4-H and SNAP-Ed activities, they also made ice cream, explored owl pellets and learned about healthy habits.
The program included visits to Wolf Mountain and Greek Peak Mountain Resort, where students tackled the ropes course, rode the mountain coaster and finished their adventure at the waterpark.
We’re proud of how well our students represented Otselic Valley and hope they enjoy their final trip at the end of the month!
