Our 5th graders had a special visit from The REV Theatre Co. who spent time with students before performing Amelia Earhart: More Than a Flyer!
Students enjoyed the performance and even got to ask questions about the story and the history behind it. Thank you to The REV Theatre for bringing this fun and educational experience to Otselic Valley!

Our 6th graders had a blast in cooking class whipping up fluffy pancakes -- and they were a delicious success! Thank you to Ms. Cantrell for guiding our young chefs through this fun, hands-on cooking activity. What a sweet way to learn and work together!

What a great evening we had on Thursday, October 9th celebrating Homecoming at Otselic Valley! Families, students, and fans came together for our Viking Tailgate and to cheer on our modified and varsity soccer teams.
A huge thank-you to Sprinklโd and Gilligan's Ice Cream and Kandi's Kitchen LLC for being part of the celebration -- your treats made the night even sweeter!
We also had plenty of games and activities that brought out everyoneโs Viking spirit. It was a wonderful way to wrap up Spirit Week and celebrate our teams, students, and community.

Carterโs Closet, named in memory of Carter Rood, honors his legacy through service and kindness. The Closet provides free clothing and essentials to OV students and families -- including shirts, pants, coats, shoes, and even formal wear for special events.
Thanks to the help of Liberty Partnership Program (LPP) students and Ms. Gorton, Carterโs Closet was reorganized into a welcoming, well-labeled space where everything is neatly displayed and easy to find. An additional elementary closet in Mrs. Hicksโ room offers smaller sizes for our youngest students.
All items are new or gently used and available at no cost to those in need. Carterโs spirit continues to inspire compassion and care throughout the Viking community.

We first connected with Good Neighbors NY through the SUNY Morrisville LPP program last spring, and weโre so thankful that partnership continues to grow.
Thank you to Good Neighbors NY for their continued generosity and partnership -- and a special thank-you to Linda Gorton for helping make this connection possible!
