|| Special Programs at Fishing & Heritage Day
Fishing & Heritage Day is just a few weeks away, and this year’s event will feature special programs presented by the Shakowi Cultural Center of the Oneida Indian Nation at the South Otselic Fish Culture Station.
Visitors can enjoy a presentation on the origins of lacrosse and traditional lacrosse stick making at 10:00 AM.
Children in Grade 2 and up are also invited to take part in Friendship Feathers craft sessions at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Participants will learn the meaning behind Friendship Feathers and create one to take home. Seating is limited to 30 participants per session.
Join us on Saturday, May 16 for a full day of activities throughout South Otselic!
