On October 28, Otselic Valley Central School will be administering a Youth Mental Health survey to students in grades 7-12. The data collected will help Chenango County establish more resources for our region.

Mark your calendars! Otselic Valley Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Friday, November 1st. Here's what you need to know:
🕖 7:45 AM - Retakes for AM BOCES students will happen before the bus leaves.
🏫 After that, in-school classrooms will have their retakes throughout the day.
📍 Location: Pictures will be taken in the Library.
If you're opting for a retake, please bring your original picture packet with you on that day. This is your chance to get the perfect shot!

Stop, Drop, and Learn: Sparking Fire Safety at OV!
A big thank you to the South Otselic Fire Department & EMS for donating their time and expertise this morning! Emergency personnel visited students in grades Pre-K through 4 to teach the importance of fire safety
Students had the opportunity to ask questions, tour ambulances and fire trucks, observe demonstrations, and learn what firefighters and first responders look like in action.
We appreciate our local heroes for helping keep our community safe and educating our young learners!

EARLY DISMISSAL DRILL NOTIFICATION
On Thursday, October 10th we will conduct a required early dismissal drill, during which all buildings will release students 15 minutes earlier than usual. Consequently, parent pickup will also occur 15 minutes earlier, and buses will depart 15 minutes earlier, resulting in students being dropped off sooner than normal. Please note that this early dismissal is only for October 10th; we will return to our regular dismissal times the following week. If you have any questions, please contact the District Office at 315-653-7218.
