The updated school supply list for classes available to Middle and High School students in 2023-2024 is available now. If you don't see a class listed, no additional materials are needed. Remember your 2 GB jump drive!



AUGUST BOE MEETING >>
The Thursday, Aug. 17 Board of Education meeting at 7:00 pm in the mirrored cafeteria will include a Public Hearing for the 2023-2024 Code of Conduct and the 2023-2024 Safety Plan.


Congrats to Ms. Alison Parrott, a former Agriculture teacher at OV, who was one of the 2023 National Association of Agricultural Educators National Award & Scholarship recipients.
Although Ms. Parrott moved to a workplace closer to her home, our excellent Ag Education program continues under Mrs. Lehmann.
Thank you both for all you've done for our students!


SUMMER STEAM CAMP TAKES FLIGHT >>
"We read _Diary of a Spider_ and the challenge was to create a parachute so spider could fly," Mrs. Davis told us. It worked!

MIDDLE SCHOOL ORIENTATION >>
FOR: Students and parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
DATE: Wednesday, August 30, 2023
TIME: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
LOCATION: Meet in the MPR at 6:30 pm
WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be a presentation in the MPR about information and expectations, followed by handing out locks so students can put their things away and be ready for school. Teachers will also be in their rooms so parents and students are welcome to talk to them individually.

We've heard that some area stores are posting school supply lists but we can confirm that the 2023-2024 supply lists are NOT yet posted AND we have very generous donations to tell you about. Stay tuned for more details next week!


The Summer STEAM Camp at Otselic Valley begins MONDAY, JULY 31, and the last day is Thursday, Aug. 17. It runs Monday-Thursday from 8 am to noon. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.
Transportation is provided at the following pick-up/drop-off locations:
Morning pick up --
6:40 am at the Georgetown School
7:20 am at the North Pitcher Post Office
Afternoon drop-off --
12:20 pm at the North Pitcher Post Office
12:30-12:45 pm at the Georgetown School


PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING >>
The Otselic Valley Public Board of Trustees meeting will be held August 2 at 9 am in the library.
