All students and families are invited to join us on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 from 3:00-6:00 pm for an open house that will get you ready for the first day of school on Thursday, September 5. You can meet your teachers and Mr. Collier (our new Superintendent), get access to Seesaw and Schoology, complete opening day paperwork, pick up your schedule, and pick up your device/locker number/lock. AUGUST REGENTS REMINDER
Regents exams are Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20. Students should check with their summer school teachers about dates and times of exams.

UPDATE TO THE 2024 FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION PROCESS
Parents/Guardians, please do not fill out the paper forms for athletic participation that you received in the mail. If your child wants to participate in the Fall sports season, you will need to register them ONLINE through Family ID. You can use the link below, or visit the Athletics page on our school website for the link.

SUMMER ADVENTURE AWAITS!
Remember, the FREE summer enrichment program for pre-registered students starts THIS MONDAY (August 5), from 8 am - noon. Breakfast and lunch will be served. (No program on Fridays.)
NEW END DATE: The last day will be Wednesday, August 21 because offices will be closed on August 22 for custodial work.

DESCRIPTION: The work involves building maintenance and grounds keeping duties, and performing a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks involving the upkeep of outdoor athletic fields, campus grounds, school buildings, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS: Good knowledge of grounds maintenance activities, safe operation of hand and power grounds maintenance tools, ability to perform routine maintenance tasks, ability to follow oral and written directions, ability to work as a team, willingness to work under inclement weather conditions, mechanical aptitude, NYS drivers license, high school diploma/GED.

SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
OV is again participating in the federal summer meals program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture. FREE breakfasts and lunches are available Mondays through Thursdays from July 8 through August 22 (breakfast is served 7:30 am - 8:30 am; lunch is served 11:30 am - 12:30 pm).
This is open to ANY child or youth aged 18 or younger. Eligible kids don't have to be a resident of this district to eat at our school site; you just have to be 18 or younger. Come on down!
