This morning we had another deluge of fake profiles on Facebook attempting to solicit unauthorized clothing sales in the comments section of numerous posts. They have been handled, but readers should always be cautious about posts like that, both here and anywhere else on Facebook. Even if the profile and product photos make it look like it's a real person in the comments section, that profile may be faked. We will continue to monitor our traffic. Thank you for your patience and awareness.

The spring musical isn't the only rehearsal you might find at OV. Welcome to Reader's Theater!
Here Mrs. Youngs and her students are practicing a read-aloud script for an in-class "performance" (no memorization and no sets needed!). There's plenty of time to practice, and Vikings work together on a shared experience that gives them a reason to read. Reading fluency, reading confidence, and another experience of reading-for-fun helps grow strong readers. (Applause, applause!)
Thank you, Mrs. Youngs.

"Who should I call?" The District Communications Guidelines chart is your road map for getting to the right person as efficiently as possible. Please start with "1st contact" and move to "2nd contact," etc. if you need more help. You can find this chart on the printed calendar sent annually to district residents, and it's also on our website on the District, Our School, and Parents pages.
