"The Boys Varsity team put a notch in the win column last night with a 74 to 54 victory over Afton. For the first time in a long time we had four players with double-digit points. Leading the way was Braeden Davis with 28, followed by Caleb Loomis with 19, Lukas Schieferstein with 14, and Cole Warren with 10. In March, the community is invited to join us for a student-led exploration of cultures around the world, starting with local culture and history and extending across the globe. During the school day all students in all grades will explore what their fellow students have learned (including optional food tastings!), but we wanted to share their work with you too. Watch this space for more about this very special event open to families and members of the community!

REMINDER TO STUDENTS:
The Otselic Valley Board of Education policy about attending after-school events states that once you have entered the event, you are not allowed to leave and come back.
When you have a substitute who is fully into the holiday spirit--hello "Frosty"!--AND who reads a snowman book to Kindergarten, well of course Little Vikings will want to make more snowmen! (Thank you, Mrs. D and Mrs. B!)

Next week begins the countdown to Winterfest! Monday: Snow Day (wear white), Tuesday: Polar Express Day/PJ Day (school appropriate PJs, no blankets), Wednesday: Christmas Chaos (all your fave holiday clothes and accessories), Thursday: Swaggy Sweaters (ugly or beautiful!), Friday: Color Day (even grades wear green and odd grades wear red).
