Ms. Smith's class has been invoking summer vibes with their creative poetry. Enjoy the original poem "Summertime" by Taylor Marshall!
Ice, ice cream, ice cold drinks
Eating ice cream in the hot summer sun
Playing outside with my sisters
It's as hot as an oven outside
Swimming, camping, having fun
The water is so cold it is dripping off from me
Camping and playing outside in the hot summer sun with sweat dripping down my forehead
Summer is a journey
Summer sun, humid heat, beachball
Playing in the summer sun
Going to the beach to play with the beach ball in the hot summer sun
Bright blue butterfly buzzed by
Bugs, four wheelers, side by sides
Getting stung by bees coming in the hot summer days
Riding four wheelers and the wind going through my hair and the wet sticky mud
Bees were buzzing around the flowers
Boom, bing, bung
The fireworks up in the sky are loud
They are so colorful in the beautiful night sky
The sun was a giant orange orb in the sky
