SAFETY UPDATE
This morning DCMO BOCES emailed component districts about a very vague, general email threat received by a regional district stating bombs have been placed in all school districts across New York State.
Otselic Valley was _not_ the recipient of this received email threat.
We have been notified by NYSED that law enforcement is investigating and thankfully, these threats have so far been unsubstantiated. It appears the communication originated from Schenectady, NY, and it remains under investigation.
Staff will continue to follow our safety protocols by keeping all exterior doors closed and locked at all times, both during school and after school. Together we will remain vigilant about the safety of all our students and staff.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Dr. Georgia Gonzalez
Superintendent of Schools
